Default 11.256@118.48 Stock Internal NA

Former LS1Tech NA Stock Internal record holder. The car basically had all bolt-ons.
The car is currently having H/C installed along with TH-400, with a goal of running well in the 10's this fall.

Yes, only boltons. No internal work to the motor. Magnus has just reset the record again last weekend with a 11.02 with a very light car.
Records are made to be broken. They give everybody a goal to shoot for. Look for the record to go even lower when the cool weather and negitive DA show up this fall !

Nice! i just might catch ya --11.36@117.88 stock internal NA stock valve-- A4 trans blew the very next run "converter ballooned" and it trashed my pump stator support shaft and shoved everything back to the front planet assy. it was just a crummy midwest 3600
gonna do a 4200 now and since the new cam it hasnt been dyno tuned
i need to bump up on injector size as well -"stock 28lb"
good luck

Lynda, that was in the SI set-up. I've since sold the 4L60E and the TCS 4200. I have a th-400 for the new combo. Should have it running in the next few weeks.

sweet --i need to upgrade my rod bolts before i do a 4400--i my converter was crappy--it stalled only to 3200 but they said it was a 3600 4400 would drop me about 1.5 tenths on a 1.6 60 ft imo --but i know slingshotting out of the hole would do my rod bolts in for sure --my car is still quite heavy 3500 ish

Grape Ape, stock internal means no internal motor or head mods. In other words anything that touchs oil internally, cannot be modifed or replaced with aftermaket parts. I hope that clears up the terminology "Stock Internal".

Thanks BIGBOS. The car had just the normal bolt-on's, a BMR Kmember,A-arms upper and lower, Hal shocks and springs up front. A Yank tranny cross member, Random Tech TA. The rear is a Moser 12 bolt, stock springs with Hals, BMR LCA and PB, Wolf anti-roll drag bar, SFC's, and 6-pt Roll Bar.
I started modding the car in the spring of 2002 with 3,200 miles. It now has 14,000 miles on it. People often say I'm crazy for modding a Firehawk but it's what I wanted to do.

We fired the motor up last Sunday and everything sounded great. Still have a few things to take care of but should be testing in the next week or two. I've made lots of changes so I'm sure there will be some issues to address.

damn, you really do have that car setup right, no wonder you are running such awesome times. I wish I had the money to do all the light weight stuff up front and transfer the weight to the rear. What tq arm setup is that? What gear and tire combo do you plan to run with the new setup? I am truely impressed with your car. Good Luck with the new combo, and keep us up to date.

Thats a Spohn Torque Arm. I have the same on my car.

I need to get mine down as light as yours Lynda.
It would probably help if I put it on a scale to see what it weighs now.
