Default Right bank LTRIMS WAY off....

When I start my car, the Right O2 reads 1106-1160 ...about 70% of the time and it runs reall rough, then my ltrims drop to -15 or so on just the right bank. Sometimes the O2 reads normally but the ltrims still drop to -15. It stays like this for about 10-20 seconds or so then everything goes to normal and it drives fine.... Any idea's....

Oh, and I thought it was the O2 sensor at first, so I replaced that and it didn't change anything.

I didn't really think an O2 would read that high. It sounds like you have an exhaust leak pre-sensor. Maybe? And then when you engine heats up and everything expands the gaskets finally seal and the trims go back to normal? That is my guess. You should check all your bolts on the exhaust before the O2 sensor on the affected side. Oh, and make sure your O2 is in tight. It may require a re-torque after you run it a few times.

It is my understanding that 02's cannot send a signal higher than 1000mV or 1V.

oh they can send higher

I had the bright idea of washing my engine bay the day before I'm racing .. was driving to a local car show... guess i got some stuff too wet car was loading up... felt like the converter was locked... was running WAY too rich

My O2s were reading 1.079 volts ... (well just driver side)

It cleared up once everything dried out

Sly in your case.. have you scanned the car? today when my driver side O2 was locking high.. I did not get any SES lights .. but when I scanned it picked up that cylinder 5 and 7 injectors were being gay and eventually it set an O2 high voltage code (car went into Open loop perm and it ran fine ... )

Thanks for the input guys, I'll check for leaks, tighten things up and rescan it. These are the 02B1S1 and 02B2S1 , I don't have rear O2's or cats. I'll get back with you all after I check it out again.

Those are the gayest injectors I have ever heard of.
