How would U make a B.A. 6.0L
How would U guys work a 6.0L with the stock crank? I mean would I just replace the Rods, pistons and Main Bolts for maybe Nitrous (100-175shot) or whould I only have to change the Pistons and Main & Rod bolts for that. And how would U set it up if you were gonna run Boost? I was thinking instead of a Bottle maybe a STS system? Gimmie some idea what I am lookin at please.

i found a guy with a SLP Y-pipe, gonna try and get it 1st cause I hate that crunch the factory ones have. What do U think for Boosted applications? Could I just go with Forged Pistons and ARP's just not run a crazy amount of Boost?

you could..i wouldn't boost the stock rods. You'll have a lot of money just in the FA setup, and you don't want to do all the work just to have it pop a rod. I would do at the very least forged rods and pistons with a good set of rings. I would also stud the heads, and probably the mains. Not an FA guy so I'm not sure that it would be totally neccesary to use main studs, but its always good insurance

I'm real happy with my 6.0L - it has Manley forged rods and Diamond forged pistons with a stock 6.0L crank. It is set up to take a 150 shot, but I haven't sprayed it (don't have a strong enough tranny). I have a decent sized cam, but stock LS6 heads (budget ran out and I had them).
Mine has pushed my 3,700# car to 11.53 @ 116.6 in not great air - and I have added 15 more rwhp since and lost 125#. I expect low 11.3's this fall.

I'm running a forged 6.0L with stock crank. Eagle Rods, Wiseco -25cc forged pistons, had the block cut for o-rings and running a custom turbo setup on it similar to the STS but not quite the same Talk to Terry at Racetech ------> He built my shortblock and I have nothing but GOOD to say about him and his work also he did it for cheaper than anywhere else I could find

So far out of everyone I have talked to, no one has heard of or seen a stock crank let go on one of these With the 6 bolt mains that we have it keeps that sucker from walking thus it's capable of almost anything you throw at it. I've heard of guys pushing over 1000hp on them if that helps.
