Default Mini Cooper "s" VS LS1

We went from a 1st gear roll. I spun, and it still wasn't even close. I had him by 2 car lengths before I hit 3rd. I thought those were low 14 sec cars?? Nothing to brag about but a fun kill.

2 cars by 3rd? I'd consider that a kill for the Mini Cooper.

^ I'd have to agree with him. Even S/C'ed, the car is a 15 second car. And with spinning tires, you should still have raped him by 3rd.

Those things are a trend they remind me of a VW bug just a little more refined.

This wasn't a half mile run I'm talking about, just a quick little kill. Sorry I'm not faster unit. Maybe the title in my glove box is slowing me down.

It's too early in the morning for drama.

It's never too early. I'm just curious to find out what the hell the title comment was about. Was it supposed to be some sort of insult towards me?

I think it was, but I was also confused. I'm going to go make some breakfast. I want to see this resolved by the time I get back.

Not trying to start any fights here I just wanted to share a kill and confirm that the new Mini's are not a threat. The street racing scene has gone downhill in CT so any race is exciting for me. Unit, you will know it if I insult you. Like if I call you a "glorified troll" for example. I kid,I kid

You don't have the ability to insult me. You do however have the ability to beat a mini cooper by 2 car lengths. Maybe you should take the title out of your glove compartment for some weight reduction.

I'm assuming your trying to tell me that you own your car and that you've one up'd me since I'm still paying on mine. Interesting. Anyway, congrats on owning a $16K car.

Isn't there supposdly some sort of factory performance package for those mini-coopers that do make tham mid/low 14's?

How would I know that you don't own your car? That title comment wasn't aimed at you. This isn't your personal message board, other people use it too. Congrats on owning a $30K car in five years.

Wasn't it Unit who was kind of bittered at the fact the used 03's are like 10K off what they were new?

OTOH, The f-body has been dead for 2 years now. What would have been a $30K SS is now a sub-$20K SS. The Cobra is going to same way now.

Unit pulled a Ricer insult

Ummm...I'll have an LS7 when they hit the street. Thanks for your concern. I appreciate it.
