Are the Hawker/16AH and Dynabatt the same battery? They have the same rating and size. If so, the Hawker is half price.

Any downsides for a daily driver? I dont' want something that I have to disconnect if I'm not going to drive it for a few days.

I'm pretty sure its the one that is on the top 5 seller list on the main page.

From looking at the picture on their site it doesn't look like the Hawker has the threaded connections that our battery require. Would we have to change out our cables?

I have been running this battery since I first saw it posted on here and what I did was, just removed the stock terminals and took a 8mm thread bolt with some washers and tightened the post to the battery with this and it has worked fine for me.

I wouldn't recommend it for a daily driver in extremely cold temps. However in the summertime it will work fine for a D.D.

Ebbs nailed it. The battery flat sucks in cold weather. I have killed 2 of them this winter. You have to keep a charge to them with something like a Battery Minder or they will go completely dead and short out or sulfide. Other words a new boat anchor. They work great in the warm weather. Just keep in mind that they have a very limited reserve so if you play a radio, use a hpp3 alot or anything else that requires power without the alternator running for an extened period of time, you will have to jump start it.

It weighs exaclty 13.5lbs.
