T-rex Cam, need your thoughts......
I just ordered the T-rex cam from Thunder Racing. Looking at my sig, how well will it compliment my setup? I have also added an NX MAF kit(150 shot)car only made 425 at the wheels with the current setup N/A. TIA!!!!

No offense but seems really low. You said you have a 150 shot, so 425hp-125 (some loss, some benefit of the doubt) looks like you only made 300hp all motor, and you already have a cam and heads and bolt on's.

Sounds like a good setup, are your heads milled?
Do you plan on flycutting or anything?

I see alot of posts about Trex ? lately. Your brakes will not be harder because of vacuum drop, at least not mine. You need to know how to tune your car! If you want a 500 RPM idle, this cam is not for you. If you don't want to spin your motor up to 7200 RPM to take full advantage of this cam, it's not for you. It does not sputter below 2K! With an A4 you can tune out all of your bucking by adjusting when your tranny lock's up, and adjust your 1/2/3 shift RPM/speed. Have a decent stall! M6 cars need gears for putt putt driving, period.
Is the cam worth doing? depends on your goals. if you want every last HP out of it, then yes, IMO it's worth doing. It was worth 17 RWHP over my TR230 cam. It has a strong top end that works great with 4.30+ gears on a M6 N/A...Even my A4/3.23 gear car it works well and traps almost 120 MPH.

The t-rex is ground on a 110 LSA. That is a significant amount of overlap. You will be blowing half of your n20 out the exhaust valve during overlap! Why don't you choose a cam that is designed to work well with your n20? Your motor will thank you.

Not ture. Yes there is a lot of overlap but it's fine for small to medium shots, say under 200. We did some dyno testing a few days ago with a T-Rex and a TNT 150 shot. On the gas it made 152 to the ground, just about what you would expect. Now if we are talking a 250+ shot then yes we can tweak the cam for a little better performance on the nitrous.
