My new true dual setup is..
2.5" x-pipe -- $35 ebay (Ubendman)
2.5" Sweet thunder chambered mufflers -- $100 w/ Dr. Gas turndowns
Welding was done by a buddy of mine..
I forget what I paid for the 3"-2.5" reducers for the headers.
Total: ~$160

go to the website...and you'll see....
but no, its not an option. its a pretty simple, but highly effective, high flowing, well fitting, x-pipe bullet design by texas speed and performance. it fits up to long tube headers. it comes disassembled, and you hook it all up with clamps, and then get it welded afterwards(or u weld it if u can DIY).

I got mine from Texas Speed as well. $419 shipped. They look good. They be on my car Friday, and I have high expectations as everyone seems to like theirs a lot.
As was said, they don't come catted, but you could weld high flow cats into them if you need catalytic convertors.

So if you plan on lowering in the future, I would go with the 2.5" setup.
3" would be great also if you don't plan on lowering your car.
I went with the x-pipe because prefer HP or sound..
As for mufflers, I've had Borla XR-1's, and I now have sweet thunders. The Borlas are the best sounding by far. Heres a list of other options.
Borla XR-1
Sweet Thunders
Magnaflow 4x9
Edlebrock
Flowmaster Delta Force
Flopro Twister
Moroso Spiral Flos
Dynomax Bullets
I've included 2 pics showing my clearance with the 2.5" setup and Eibach Prokit.

True duals arent real expensive if you can find a place to get em done, you go to summit n' get a 70-90$ x-pipe, get a couple mufflers, and get someone to custom bend em, bending is normally about 100$ with install, and totals normally range from around 400-500$, and then theres headers and install too, which i need to do all of the above

Dr. Gas X, patented and proven - not home-made.
5 Mandrel bent bends - not crimped up pipe from a bender
2 bullet mufflers of choice
Collectors for whichever header
Hangers/hardware
3" stainless bandclamps - for most headers.
High temp paint, even though the whole system is aluminized
3-4 hours labor to build
and i have heard nothing but goo dnews and reviews about his work and he makes a system to fit to mac mids so i couldnt be happier thnaks guys for all your help....whats a good muffler choice that isnt to raspy and not to loud but still nice i have mac mids not to ORY and borla...what do u think will be clos eto taht or maybee a lil quiter?
