Default Open loop WOT question

In open loop does the PCM still read off of the PE vs RPM tables?

I've heard both ways and just want to clarify.

Thanx

You have to satisfy several criteria for PE mode -
MAP threshold, RPM based delay etc. Then if PE is
the fattest of the enabled options that is what gets
used. If PE is not satisfied then you most likely fall
back on the open loop fuel air table (vs ECT vs MAP).

I have never seen the (WOT) open loop logic fully
explained. Let alone, well.

So my PCM will want the richest of all the tables? So it would be best to lean out the other tables?

Also, the car goes into Open Loop whenever it has a bad 02 sensor correct? Would this be the same as the car running in open loop by raising the closed loop activation?
