Default What do 4.10s feel like

compared to 3.42s. I've got an M6 and the stock rear is going out fast. I'll be buying a new rear around Thanksgiving.

I'm disappointed to hear that most people have noise problems with their aftermarket rears too.

why is your stock rear going out fast. you only have 321 at the wheels. i didnt think that was possible with stock gears and pretty much a stock car even with et streets going to the track everyday.

Grinds and sounds like a dog howling at the moon. Actual, around 70 mph it sounds like you're in a tornado siren. Not too good.

A few smokey burnouts on a country road and the rear is now toast.

I did 4.10s to the stock rear end at 12,000 miles and have loved that mod the MOST.
get them set up rite and break them in rite and never look back till you break it.......then reaplace it with a bigger one. (9") and try to break it!!!
It is the one mode you never have to tell any body about either. they cant tell by looking at it. and help ALOT

I second that! They are a LOT of fun, especially in an M6. WOW.

Right, make sure they are set up perfectly and take it easy for 2-300 miles. Don't go over 50 for an hour or two of driving if you can help it.

They tend to notice when you spin the tires hitting 2nd and 3rd gear!Launching is an art with 4.10's.
