Default Timing Chain

I have a ls1 engine but it had no timing chain and I'm wondering should I just use oem or go aftermarket; if aftermarket is the way what is a good name brand?
Thanks for any help

Go with a double roller, Rollmaster is a popular choice and available from SDPC

Which Cam???

No need to overkill, a simple J-wiss would do fine. Unless you'll have a radical cam.

J-WIS will do, much easier to install, no need to remove crank sproket (unless damaged of course)
BTW I believe this is the chain they use on C5R "LE MANS" corvettes.

How much do you have to machine off your underdrive pully to use double rollers? Can a single roller Rollmaster be used without machining?
