Friend's Incon car went 10.45 @ 134 Saturday
Don't think he posts here, but I wanted to congratulate Mike for getting his 2002 CE T/A in the lower half of the 10's on Saturday at Tri-state (NW of Cinci).
The weather was cold, but good for making power. The pass was with only a 1.67 60-foot time I believe. Video should be available soon.
Car has a stock bottom end, heads/cam, Rossler TH400 (no brake), and Incon at about 7psi....all tuned by Detroit Speed. Car had full interior with the exception of upper back seat and was on ET Streets. More boost to come and he has added QA1 shock setup.

Hey Todd I think Ive heard of this car. Do you know someone with an LT1 Comp TA over your way by the name of Mike Alford? There is another guy I know who lives over by Kettering with a red LT1 WS6 with some silver graphics on it too. A good friend of mine locally who works in auto repair recently put a set of ceramic long tube headers on the red WS6 and they had mentioned something about a twin turbo LS1 running around the Dayton area.
Just wondered if you knew these guys.
Nice times by the way!

Any idea on his power output and compression ratio with the Heads/Cam/Turbo's? Stage I (GTB-35's)? What kind of Fuel System? Any idea on what kind ET/MPH gains from the 1/8th to the 1/4th? 60'? Sorry for so many questions but those are awesome times if it is a relatively unmodified kit (Sorry Harlan, no disrespect toyou and your awesome times/power bro!!)

As far as I know, and Mike may correct me, the fuel system is near stock with Incon upgrades. The heads are stock chambers, so the CR should be about 10.1:1.
The killer thing is that he went from 98 mph at the 1/8th to 134 mph in the 1/4! 36 mph gain in the top half <img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />
He will be increasing the boost slightly next time out with the drag shocks. may be a 10.00 with a good launch. Since he has no t-brake, he was basically stabbing the pedal and flashing the converter to it's relatively low stall (I think 3200).

Great times. <img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />
How does your Hot Rod react to the tree? With the boost can ya cut a good light or is the Hot Rod real lazy off the line? <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />
What do you think that your Hot Rod would run if it was, "say around 3150"? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Stock bottom end Jonathon.
Coach...Mike is pretty new to racing. He is mostly into the car show circuit, but likes to go to the track. He will be at the N/S shootout for sure though. We are trying to convince him to get a t-brake on that thing <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

ya, i talked to him, was the same fuel set up as me, and running less boost. and made 17rwhp less on the same dyno.
I need to drive like him <img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />
dont know why his traps are so much higher either
