The Phantom Autometer guages come with red bulb covers. They aren't really that dark. The camera made them come out that way. They're a really bright red.. The blue and red matches my interior nicely.

I was thinking similiar but like a sport comp. I believe the have shine through lighting like the gauge cluster does with a black face.

I didn't replace the bulb because it was easier to just install the red slip on cover that came with the guage kit.

I've tried replacing the bulbs before. The bulbs fade over time and need to be a replaced every 2 months or so. I've also tried 4 point LEDs but they are no bright enough. I've been using the little slip covers now and they work really good.
