That's nice setup. We are still finishing the tuning on one of our cars. 481/417 with the 64cc non-milled heads.

I wouldn't call $2000 L/G longtubes and 12.2:1 compression a basic H/C setup.

But regardless a super stout combo, ESPECIALLY through hi flow cats

I don't know where you are getting your informtion on the compression ratio, but you WAY OFF.

I tuned that car and I know the facts...the compression ratio is slightlly north of 11.2:1.

The guy (Phil99vette) who posted the link, and the one you are quoting as having 12.2:1, is not the car in question.

Follow the posted link and you find the entire combination, including the 11.2:1 comp ratio.

Hope that helps all...

Even with heavyer internal engine components file fit ring seal will way overcome the hp loss of the weight of the internals. On my forged motor the pistons and rods are lighter pro-billet lunati rods are 15 grams less then the stock rods and rated to 1200hp hehehe. Anyway great power good luck with it and im sure it will make 10-15 more hp after break in. Also what gears are in the car.
