Hello, I just joined the forum a little while back. Here is the link to pictures of my 1999 Camaro SS with newly installed SLP Center Mount Exhaust and Dynomax Ultra Flo muffler.

Yeah, I didn't much care for the CME either when it first came out. It is growing on me a little as it's nice to see something other than the norm once in a while....

I love the CME. How does it sound? Whats the rest of your exhaust like? Headers or cats?

It sounds good. It isn't as loud like a corsa or borla but it has a deeper tone than the SLP Dual/Dual Premium Exhaust it came with when stock. I still have the factory heads and cat in place. Need to save more money for future mods.

The CME valence is the perfect finish for a '98+ Camaro rearend. It's just too bad you can't get it without the center exhaust provision, as I think that would look good with a dual exhaust setup, if it was straight across.

Use the good 3M brand double sided tape and clean your bumper where the tape will adhere extremely well. I polished mine with a light compound and then wiped it down with a good cleaning sulution. if your installing it in the cold be sure to heat the two suraces before hand, the tape wont stick very well when its cold.

That is what I have been thinking as I have dumped exhaust before the axle! I will try to get my hands on just the bumper piece and see what I can do about it!

I love my CME! And I do agree after I come home from driving my car I have to wipe down the tips so they keep their shine.
