99TA vs 911 turbo I was going to work the other morning when I see a 911 turbo cruising along. I caught up and passed the guy, not really expecting to race...as most won't. To my amazement, the guy moves over, when I get beside him, he accelerates with me. I downshifted and we hit it. Dead nuts even! We only raced for a few seconds though. I'm guessing if we would have ran longer, those turbos would have started to REALLY help him out.
My TA is an auto with an older heads/cam setup that runs 7.2's in the 1/8th....not too shabby for a stock car to hang with it.

Man if you are running 7.2 in the 1/8 you should be good for mid to low 11's. Not to many stock cars will beat that. It is kind of impressive that you two were even.
