Default Time for a new motor.

Well, I had a valve spring explode into five pieces, you know what that caused. Still not sure if I can use the block of not. If the block is done I am going with a 402 iron block. If I can reuse the stock block, I'm thinking about an eagle 3.90 crank. I don't like the idea of stroke being bigger than bore. I have a decent set of home ported heads. They flow about 280@.550. Have full boltons. Looking to make about 425hp at wheels without spinning above 6200rpms. I was looking at the FM13 cam. I haven't seen many of these setups and was just wondering If I had everything figured out about right.Any suggestions?

Older comp 918. I didn't have my camera with me. Maybe I'll go see if I can find the pieces of spring. I'll definately take pics when I pull the heads.
