Dumb Question
I have been a fan of this site for like 8 months. I come to realize that some people above their have this "Tech Addict, Staging lanes, Teching in, Registered user,...." Why is that and how do u change it???
But im confused!!!!!!!!!!

I has to do with how many posts you have. I could be wrong, but I don't think the post counter works right though. Seeing how my car is in pieces, I think mine should say "sittin on the stands drinkin beer" until I get it back together.

Well I understand that the interval between name changes probably grows as you move further along. However, I have twice as many posts and still haven't passed tech. Maybe I came to the test and tune late and have to wait to race tomorrow. Might as well just hang out, watch the action, and

That would explain why the guy with half as many posts, and joined a year later has passed me then! I'm really not too bummed about this guys, so don't freak on me. I think it is obvious that the post counting/time counting system doesn't work right is all. I'll get off my and go make some meaningful posts now.

The post counter only works in certain parts of the forum. That's why it seems as if it's not working. Make posts in certain parts of the forum, and it'll change.

Now look closely -
krazydan = 449 posts, been here since jan 2003 = teching in
mdblack = 480 posts, been here since march = through the traps
Myself = 224 posts, been here since oct 2003 = teching in
psykota = 132 posts, been here since august = on the tree
I fail to see any kind of trend in this.

I've been "dialing in" since the month I joined.
That's not the post counter. It used to change in relation with the number of posts you had/ time on the board. That used to change on the old format of the site. When the site was updated, everyones stayed the same it was on the old format.
