I spoke with Meziere a couple weeks ago...
The street pump flows 55GPM, the race pump flows 35GPM.
The street pump has the idler pulley to use the factory belt and routing, the race pump does not.
The street pump has thermostat provisions, the race pump does not.
The race pump is much lighter.
The street pump will last longer.
The street pump is guaranteed to keep everything cool around town, the race pump is not recommended for street use because the lower cooling capabilities may let temps rise enough to cause detonation on vehicles 'tuned' for more performance (more agressive timing).
Straight from the mouth of a Meziere tech.

I was thinking about getting on to cool everything down with 11:1 compression A better option is the slp high capacity ls1 radiator 50% more core. fits like stock I hope your not looking for more hp and tq with the meziere 4rwhp max on heads and cam car cost $500+ thats $125 per hp. Thunderracing.com has the slps on sale for $275 right now My 03 cents

Well I have a mostly race car....No Heater No AC, but I may need the extra clearence of the race pump because my turbo is there, is there extra clearence?? also I would like to drive the car some on the street. What is stock flow? Also race pump is cheaper too.

You'd have more clearance, but at the cost of cooling capabilities and PITA belt-routing to configure. I've been told on more than one occasion that the factory belt-driven LS-1 pump flows 80GPM, but I haven't any idea of what rpm that is at.
Those of you that have access to some fab machines could easily do something better. I have a manual rack, so I don't need a belt there, and I made a bracket to run a drive motor and belt to use the factory water pump and it's needed accessories like heater core fittings, and thermostat fitting. The DC motor I'm using has a 10,000hr lifespan compaired to Meziere's measly 2-2500hrs (street pump), spins @ 6340rpm @ 12vdc drawing about 11amps, and is very small. I'm using a 3.29" plastic cog pully and belt, and the factory water pump pulley. The pump is spinning around what it would usually be spinning @ 3700rpm which is plenty for 'around town' cooling with a higher compression/larger cam setup. The DC motor cost $190, the pulley and belt were around $40 together, and the bracket was cheap, mild steel from a supply company.
The main belt is running only the alt. which has an UD pulley along with an UD crank pulley. I bet it's costing me 2rwhp tops with AC. Just something fo ryou guys to chew on...
