Default Ran a 04 cobra, pulley, chip, 125 shot

Ok well the story starts like this, I go out to the car meeting place (sonic) and I ask to run a Red 04 cobra, he says he's game and we hit the street, I run him on motor and put about 2 cars on him and he came back to maybe 1.5 cars when we shut down, this was before my MSD ( I was loosing spark around 5800, I shift at 6700 now) and running a richer set of jets. Well he gets on my local site and says he beat me so that means its time for a rematch, lets jump about 3 weeks into the future(got msd now, leaner jets and a 150 shot) we go to run at the same spot but his buddy in a yellow 04 cobra wants to run too, we all go and I put many many buslengths on the red car and beat the yellow car by a few cars, when we get back they claim the yellow car is bone stock im thinking bullshit, well tonight I find out he's on the bottle, I am not too sure but he may have just been on the bottle when we ran(no chip or pulley) anyways I may be able to get him to run again in 2 weeks when I get my car back together (when i raced i had low compression on 7 of my 8 cyls, they were avg of 100 and my correct cylinder was 150 psi found out i have some bent valves and they are not sealing for **** so I should have 50+ more hp for this next race) i'll post up the next race when the results come in

i always hate it when people tell their friends they won a race when they did not because no one they know is there to prove them wrong or run by you after you shut it down and think they won that is like but good kill and make sure you get your car fixed so you can do it again after they go and "mod" their car some more so they can try and beat you. man that is ricer of that guy hardcore

WTF does your car run? A pulley, tune, CAI, exhaust, nitrous 04 Cobra is easy 10's.

not sure exactly, the yellow car ran a 7.3@95 in the 1/8th the other day and I had him pretty good, I should be 10s easy considering I have a solid roller windsor and nitrous, when I get my car back together I should be posting up some mid to high 6's at 100+ too bad the 1/4 mile track is so far away

To help you out a lil, just last night, I ran 10.57 @ 130 and my 1/8 was 6.74 @ 105mph.

Good kills, BTW.

Wow,pretty impressive!
Post your times when you can.

The Yellow Cobra runs about what i did before changing convertors to a Nitrous friendly vertor.
Last years best was 7.2@93 1/8 mile. Looking for traction this year .

Nice Kills!!!
