MTI 2E Heads or Cartek 2X Heads Info please if you have them
Trying to decide which Stage II heads to get. I don't want to go bigger on a cam just yet, so I'd like to see how Heads will work out with the cam I now have. I'd like to know what cams your running with them and some track times if you have them.
Here are my cam specs:
212/218/ 115 LSA .558 .563 Power range 1400-6700
Track times are in my sig with stock heads, exhaust and gears.
I know the cam is considered a baby cam but it's yield great results for me and is completely stealth because you don't hear it (no lope) I like that and I'd like to remain above the supposed new 11.50 NHRA rule 1/2005.
I am wondering which of these Heads would work better for the cam and lift I have? Or, if I decide to go bigger later on?
Any feedback would be appreciated, Thanks!

I would go with MTI all the way! they are taking care of me right now they are doing a 347 forged shortblock with stage 2e heads and X1 cam. as far as customer service has gone as of right now I am MORE than pleased! when the motor gets here i'll let everyone know how it does performance wise if you call them up talk to Chris or David(poolfanatic) they are both very helpful!

I have the MTI Stage 2E heads, very happy with the quality, power and service I received from MTI. I've seen a lot of dyno charts from bigger set ups that made less power than my MTI set up.

I just recently recieved a set of MTI 2e heads and they look very nice. I had planned on using the T1 cam that I had in my Camaro but bought a TSP 225 cam on a deal and will be using it. I think MTI is porven on this board and others and you will be happy with the
service and products, they are good guys to deal with.
I also had good results with my T1 cam as the Z28 trapped at 115 the last few times I ran it with an M6 and 3.42's. MTI is one of the best IMHO.

So far, I'm happy with my 2E's. There's more in my setup when I get the detonation up high under control. I'm running them with a C1 and haven't been on the track since I installed them. They did wake up the high RPM range, for sure.
