Default ricer vs. buick....

My friend told me today that on his way to work yesterday, he ran into a ricer. The guy had a 240 SX with a fart muffler as far as he could tell. They started from a 15 roll and pulled to about 50 while putting a car length on rice boy. I know that 's not fast but they had to slow down when they got in front of the police station. My friend normally drives his dads 03 Hemi Ram, but I found out that he was driving his stock 3.1 liter V-6 four door 94 Buick when this happened. When I found out he was in the buick, I laughed my *** off! It's probly just me but I thought that was hilarious. I laughed so hard I cried .

Worse.

The car is the four cylinder and I think it has about 200,000 miles on it, the milage counter stopped working a while ago.

Whats awesome is that you had the yams to bring it to the track and get a 21 second timeslip. F'n A!

Yeah it does take "yams" to do that but i freaking hate watching all the ricers cause 20 seconds seems like an eternity at the track.

Funny, I thought I was racing a "ricer" with a fart muffler one day too...until I got walked on the highway in front of my best friend. Ended up talking with the guy, here's his car:

Speaking of Buicks I have always wanted a 98-up Regal GS. I love those cars... inexpensive, luxurious, super comfy, very reliable, smooth and the ultimate modern day sleeper. I think they are attractive cars, but they don't look near as fast as they are w/ a pulley and a few other mods. The ultimate daily driver IMO.

I know some of the ricers are fast. I would personally like a 240ZX, but hard to find a good one for the right price. The only problem I have is when they put a 4 inch muffler on a 1 inch exhaust system. It does nothing but **** off the real gearheads on the road. Actually, I like a few import cars(all six cylinders), but as I said this guy was a ricer, and obviously did not ahve a good car as he lost to a crappy Buick.

I used to pull civic's and such at the light in my wifes old Park Ave. (Ultra). It was debadged though, with regular Park Ave wheels. 15's instead of 16's for the slightly beter ride- wifes decision, not mine. Anyway, got some real laughs from that, especially when they had their girls with them and I had car seats in the back(empty- of course). Even my wife would do it occasionally.

My father has one of those that he has done some bolt-ons for. The problem with them is that the tranny can't take the torque of the stock engine..let alone one with some bolt-ons (torque was under-rated I believe)
