Default Can bad O2s cost you 50 hp

I'm pretty sure my O2 sensors are bad, but I'm wondering if that's all that is wrong.

I've lost about 0.4 sec and 4 mph in the quarter, excluding weather, traction and other variables - strictly power, so I figure its probably around 40-50 hp.

Can bad O2s cause this kind of performance loss?

It's conceivable, if they jacked your fuel trimming
up so far that (say) you went from 12.5:1 all the
way to 11:1 (which a +15 LTFT put onto a good
WOT mixture would do).

A logging session would show this kind of thing or
discount it.

So I should check my LTFT at idle and if they're high > +10, it would indicate that I'm extremely rich under load?

I believe he's referring to WOT fueling ... see what the LTFTs are locking in at when you blip the gas to go WOT ...

You can also log the FTC and LTFTs ... and I think you just average FTCs 4-19 (not 100% confident it's the right range) ... and after a lil driving see what the average looks like

However keep in mind extreme high LTFTs can also be caused if there's a vacuum leak and unmetered air is entering post MAF ... so it may not be bad O2s (bad O2s should set a code), could be a leak

When my o2's were bad, my ltrims were really high at idle. As soon as I switched them, they went right back to where they needed to be.
