Default Opinions on either one of these exhaust systems

Well Xmas is coming and ill be getting my exhaust but i am torn between these 2 systems. Either the SLP Loudmouth or the Magnaflow. I have went over to LS1 Sounds so many times and really havent came up with a definate winner. I do like the Magnaflow it has a nice deep rumble and is pretty loud but all my f-body buds want me to do the SLP. So what do you guys think??

magnaflow all the way...sounds great on stock cats/manifolds, and if you decide to do headers/ory later, still sounds awesome. can't say the same for the LOUDmouth.

Default I think..

You should look elsewhere instead of SLP. They have the worst customer service known to man.

The LM is such a basic design that it can easily be copied at a much cheaper price. TSP sells their version of the Dynomouth for less than the LM.

I had the LM for a while on my car. At first I of course liked it but it grew to annoy me within a few months. The 2000 drone/resonance would give me a head ache on long trips. I added headers and it killed the drone a bit but not enough for me to keep it.

If your buds want the SLP so bad tell them to buy it for their cars.

the lm has a unrefined sound.

Another vote for the magnaflow. I've heard great things from it, and they say it flows the best along with Hooker.

_ I won't vote for LM but I am probably the only guy who isn't very happy with his Magnaflow. Even with headers the thing seems so quiet. I don't want a car everyone three blocks away from me can here but this is just too quiet. Maybe it is just my car? This is based strictly on sound because it does look and flow good. I hate being at stop lights when a stock mustang pulls up next to me and its so much louder than mine.

I had the loudmouth for about three weeks, just too raw sounding for my taste. I now have the magnaflow and I am pleased with the sound though it could be a touch louder and the flow is great. Only complaint would be the huge tips but those can be easily changed. Magnaflow is the better choice but do not rule out Hooker either.

Might want to look into sweet thunder. Do a search on sweet thunder. There are clips of my car on ls1 sounds, with cam, without cam and a w/cam flyby.
