I want my car to have flame throwers!! How can I do it??

Default I want my car to have flame throwers!! How can I do it??

I really want to put flame throwers on my 2000 TA, WS6.. Please help me out how to do it without making the car a hazard. Plus if there is a way where I can have a switch to turn it on and off would be sweet!!

All you need is a fuel source and spark. A stand alone fuel system with spark plugs in the exhaust tips should do the trick. I remember there was a write up for this floating around a few years ago for f-bodies.

It's probably be pretty hard to do without true duals, or through a muffler.

works better on carb cars, you have to drop the cats so more raw fuel can pass by the spark plug in the exhaust. There are kits out there for the flame throwers, gotta search though

They sell a set-up kit, try a web search, it comes with an on and off switch as you described.

It's a ricers dream though Once the link comes up it is the first one you have to right click and save to view it. I plan on getting it tuned soon. There is no telling how many bumpers I've scorched

It doesn't matter anyways guys.... The guys at Speed Ink won't do it because they said;

The computer controlled cars will have issues with stuff like this. We would prefer not to do the install for liability reasons as well.

Make your car run a little rich, mine is and has shot flames about 2ft a couple times. I really need a tune, but waiting until I get my cam and LT's in.

From my understanding throwing flames threw the exhaust is a Hot Rodder trick from back in the days nothing rice about that.

Kindof an oxymoron huh?

Anyhow, from what I under stand, the easies way is to punch out the cats, install a spark plug in your exhaust about 8" back from the tips and run a neon trans former to the plug. You can put a switch on the transformer to turn it off and on.

The flame thower is an old hot/street rodder trick, but like so many other good ideas, the F&F raped it.

I agree. NOS could also be considered rice by F&F standards.
