Yea, 441N/A with A4, 12-bolt, Vig stall. We could have gotten 10rwhp with alittle more timing. Tuned for spray right now. The 12 bolt 3.73 gears eats probably 15rwhp, and if it where a 6sp you could add another 15-20rwhp. That would put you at 475-485rwhp.

I thought some shops were making near 500rwhp on 346ci w/ AFR heads and big cams on stock bottom ends. Could be wrong though so dont bash me!! Seen plenty of H/C cars with 450+rwhp on stock bottoms on the net. Most i ever got w/ my SS on stock bottom w/ TEA Heads and 224/224 cam w all the bolt-ons was 430rwhp back in july 03.

LG has done 500+RWHP on a stock bottom before (pretty aggressive set up, open headers, race gas, aggressive tune) and I know Mikey at Rapid has done 500RWHP with the "Dominator" H/C package (requires flycut pistons and recommended ARP rod bolts.)

I saw there was a Vette running the AFR 205 heads over 500RWHP also.... do a search within the last month you might find the post in this forum. In any case it will have to be a very aggressive set up with the FAST 90 Intake/TB, maybe electric water pump, the rest of the boltons, high $ Stage II LS6 heads or AFR heads and a decently large cam like the Magic Stick, G5X3-4, TRex, Dominator cam, something along those lines. Also having a M6 I would say is almost mandatory for hitting 500 on a stock bottom.

i have personally seen 680 rwhp 6 speed nitroused h/c ls1 here in tampa. in fact, there are a couple of guys that have gone over 600 rwhp on similar setups. everyone loves the multiple dry stage nitrous setups.

so it sounds like mid 400's is fairly easy with the right stuff and 6-speed. My whole plan was to go FI but more I look it to the H/C cars I like what I can see. Plus the money I was going to spend for a FI setup I could all the bolt on's,rims, and the hood I want. Tuff to pick what I want. I think when it's all said and done I would go faster at the track with h/c set up. Only cause I would get more for my money. This is manily street car. But I'm not **** about bad idle and all that. But it has to be pump gas and run with out stalling at every light. What kind of time you guys running in the 1/4 with mid 400hp? Say with 1.6/1.7 60's...
