which chain to go with, i dont know
ive been lookin at the double roller only for strength. i dont want to adjust it really, dont wanna get into that. would the single be good? lookin to turn 6600-6800 rpm but not ALL the time. which is the strongest single chain?

well, i don't know of any heat treated single chains. the adjustability of the one i linked to is moot. you just put it on 0* straight up and leave it alone. double chain just takes longer to stretch over time. so that keeps the crank and cam events inline over a longer period of time. the only thing that would keep the crank and cam events in time perfectly is a gear drive. unfortunately, this would transmit all the cranshaft vibrations into the cam and set off the knock sensors.
and as with anything else two are better than one. spreads the stress load over more area.

yeah i mean i know of the definate advantage of the double, and i dont want to cut corners to save money at all but if i can get a good single that will get the job done and get it done right, then i would. but thats why im asking because i dont really know. where can i get the chain the c5r's use? figure if they use it its gotta be good
