bonehead 5.9 limited Jeep Yesterday night coming home from work. Ice on the windows from the snow in Westchester county. Roads are wet and icy obviously. At the light waiting to make a left. Another car next to me, can't see who it is due to the ice. Light turns green, I let the person go so that I won't fish into him. Bonehead puts his hazards on 
Knucklehead from work calling me saying that his 5.9 blasted by me at the light. 
Talking alot of shyt. Just wait till the roads get dry. It's gonna rain all day today too.

Don't feel bad...this just happened to me this afternoon as well, although it was some early 90's black Chevy truck. It's 25 degrees and he's revving like crazy on my left. Of course, we end up at a light and he feels compelled to rev some more, hoping I'll go. My Nittos were probably as cold as the pavement, and I wasn't even going to try it from a stop. He's got to be extra-tough with a passenger too, so at yellow he brings up the RPM, and then at green lays into it. I just roll through the intersection like normal, all the while he's belching black smoke out the back of his tough truck

i have a friend with a 5.9 with bolt-ons and he went 8.7 or 8.8 at like 80 in the 1/8. It's quick as **** for a jeep and the all-wheel drive and a converter with all that torque is crazy. BUT still no match for an LS1 well..unless it's snowing

I just parked next to him. He's not sneakin out tonight.
Oh and I have my camera today, even though it only has a 32 MB stick, won't take that long to smoke him. I'll need someone to host it when I'm done.

I wonder if he actually thinks his truck is faster. I love these morons that pull away from you at a light and think they "beat" you when you arent even racing, whether it be dry or wet. I can just imagine how many times people have probably done that to me and thought that, when I was just driving nice and easy. Think about it, this guy just happened to work with you, otherwise you'd have never thought anything of it, and never even known he thought he beat you.
Anyhow, hopefully you will take him to LS1 school sometime very soon.

those 5.9L Jeeps take off good.. but fall flat at ~ 1/8th mile.. they're **** bricks!! .. However, don't under-estimate them from a stop.. they launch good, but you'll quickly reel'em in around 35'ish and put bus lengths, depending on how far you race..
Hell you could have someone [possibly a girl, less weight plus chances of you getting some __
] in the car film it...
That way you, and she, can rag it in, every day!!.. You've gotta have a good *lady* friend at work.. unless you work at UPS .. jk!!
