HP tuners Computer requirements
I did a search and found a little bit of info. I have a Compaq Armada 3500. Will this laptop work ok with HP tuners. The computer runs great and never freezes up. How do I find out how many MHZ this thing is running. Does HP tuners come with the cable? Thanks.

I'd bump up that RAM to the max it will take.
From HPTuner's site.
Minimum Requirements:
Windows 98 or Better
150 mhz PC or Laptop (Flash and Editor)
300 mhz PC or Laptop (Recommended for Scanner)
64 MB of RAM
16 MB of Disk Space
Native Serial Port or PCMCIA serial adapter

normally you can find out what kind of specs your system has by click on the start button, then click on Control Panel, then when the window popls up, click System.(or if you have it set so the Control Panel expands, like I do, just click System on the expander). When the System window pops up, it should tell you what version and build of windows you are running, the type and speed of processor, as well as your system memory specs of your computer. Just for future use.
Sorry I didn't explain this sooner. Hope this helps!

Also you can go to the start menu > run > and type "WinMSD" without the quotes and press enter. This will bring up Microsoft System Information. This is I know available on Windows NT, 2000 and XP. I am not sure about other operating systems but you could try. It has a drill down tree view about any aspect of your hardware and software. It is a nice utility if you need to know the BIOS version, CPU speed, memory, models, etc... from within windows.
