Question 78mm FAST vs. LS6 Intake

OK, I tried doing a search on this, but didn't find much. Has anyone found any gains with the FAST 78 over the LS6? Did you use a ported stock TB? Any dynos? My car has stock cubes (for now) with a pretty good H/C set-up. Any info would be great (including threads that I may have missed). Thanks! Ben

For the price difference, your money is MUCH better spent elsewhere.

The one direct comparison I've was told about, the car picked up mid range to top end over the LS6, low end numbers were a little lower.

I have had the 78mm and sold it because I was not happy with the results at all. If you want to do something, get the 90/90. Don't waste your money on the 78mm.

So it seems that the LS6 would be more than adequate unless stepping up to the 90mm... Are there still "issues" with the 90mm TB? Thx!

I'm still trying to determine if the 78mm FAST (with a ported stock TB) would show any real gains over an LS6 intake with the same ported stock TB on a bolt ons only car. I'm pretty sure the 90mm wouldn't work but maybe the 78mm?
Doesn't really matter to me now though, just installed my LS6 intake yesterday finally so that's what I'm sticking with.
