Hey Bud,
These are sold outright so NO core charge is required
With the head at 66.7 cc's it comes out to 8.18 with the Turbo shortblock and 9.62 with the supercharger shortblock.

If this doesn't suit you I am sure we can come up with something for you.
Thank you for the inquiry

Kevin.

Wow... this is awesome from a badass shop! (Ilike the work and stuff W2W puts out)

Question... why are the turbo and supercharger SB so different. I know the different pieces, but whats the reason behind it? IE... Lunati crank vs the stocker, Mahle pistons vs CP(?) pistons, Callies rods vs Manley rods?

Thank you for the kind words Country boy.

I believe the goal was to offer a couple shortblocks to fit a variety of budgets depending on the customers application.

Are these a sale price or normal price? What kind of power (via turbo) will the first option be able to handle?

What kind of combination do you plan on running?
Compression?
Turbo?
Cam?
Fuel system?

Safely the shortblock will handle 800 at the flywheel. 1000 would be pushing it for long periods of time.

They are in stock and ready to ship. Lead time would be as long as the truck company takes to drive from Michigan to Flordia. After payment I would say a week and a half maybe.

You don't happen to have anything with an Aluminum block and flat-top pistons do you?

For that application you could use our common road racing combination.
We have all parts in stock to build it however we do not have one on the shelf. The piston used would not utilize the 1000 horsepower design.

With the aluminum block and dished pistons would the compression ratio be the same? I don't plan on making a 1000 hp.

In the aluminum block post we are talking about a flat top piston so the compression WOULD be higher. I am sure we could do a more boost friendly piston if you needed it.

If you could do a 9:1 forged piston that would be cool, with that in mind is the cost the same or less?

I am also interested in Al block setup. If you can pm me a price for a flat top setup for Nitrous app's (11:1cr using a .005 piston out of the hole and .040" gasket, 64cc heads) and one for turbo app (8.5:1cr using .040" gasket as well and 74cc heads) that would be great. Thanks Kev.
