Default 11's with manifolds an cats and no juice

Will a stock internal full weight car with cats and manifolds run 11's if not who has gotten the closest? No nitrous cars please.

This is my goal. See sig. A gear, some tuning and suspension going in this winter as well as improved skills should get me there.

yea it can happen. i went 12.80s before my headers with cutout and lid.. add a 4200 stall and 3.73 and et streets, all the free mods and i think it would be relatively easy. dyno tune could give u a lil more as well if u want to spend the cash.

I've run the time in my sig with stock manifolds. It even had stock exhaust without a cutout at the time. I can't say it was full weight. It had the spare tire & jack removed plus had Convo Pro wheels on it. Other than that no weight reduction. I'm not sure 11's is possible in my car because I don't plan on swapping to a 12 bolt but who knows??? It would probably be much easier with an auto with a big stall.

I went 12.07 @ 111.42 (1.62) with stock manifolds and cats.

Andy Wheeler (AZZKICKER) went 11.96 with the stock manifolds and cats way back in December of 2000.

John that is the info that I was looking for. After my formula went a 7.91 on nittos with a converter, blackwing lid, k&n, and the end cut off of the egr I began to think it might be possible. My next mods are going to be a ported throttle body, underdrive pulley, M/T drag radials and a tune. Thanks for the info.

Oh well, I guess I wasn't the only one who had the same idea. Since it's been done with an M6, time to start modding. lol

I ran 12.21 a while back. That was with a 3800 stall and 3:23 gears. No under drive pulley or ported throttle body. I did have the rear seat and spare out. Had the stock 17's on front with 16" ET streets on back.
