I have been using Mobil 1 0w-40 for a while now and it's great. Never tried the 0-30. My oil pressure is much better than it was with 5w-30 or 10w30.

Mobil 1 0w30 is not very good. It's on the very thin end of the 30wt range so it's almost a 0w20, so when your oil temperature gets hot it's not going to protect as much.

You're better off running 0w30 Castrol (the German version) which is much thicker, it's almost a 0w40.

Ok, thanks for the info.

patman- I will probably not go back to 30 after this oil gets old, will upgrade to 40. I have noticed higher oil pressure , like some of you said . I had 10w30 before and it was a bit lower . I would think that the 10w would make it higher, but I guess not.

I just swapped to Mobil 1 0w-40 as well and my oil pressure is now much better than the 5w-30. Idle was around 28 with the 5w, now its back up to 40, 1500 rpms is around 50+. Much better now
