2002Z vs 03 Cobra "Outcome" Video :) Since no one posted about it in the other thread ill post what happened here.
Since the cobra I was suppose to run couldnt make it. I got lucky...We had planned a meet and 2 other cobras come along w/ some other awesome cars..... Man it was an great night..
I ran the faster of the 2 which had Pully/Diablo/Exhaust/ORP/CAI/ I think he had a removed the IRS and had gears/Drag radials.....He said he was dynoing like 500hp to the ground...
1st time I hooked pretty good and pulled on him pretty good but he said he car shut down in 2nd...not sure what happened....
So we line up again....My et streets were not hooking at all this time and he blew out of the whole....Im getting all sideways and he gets about a car on me. Finally I get traction and pull up beside him and then slowly get him at my door....untill I hit 3rd and I pull on him instantly about car and a half
Ill get the videos up asap...They are really crappy however because its dark out...

P.S...Nitrous is GREAT 11.5@ 125.5

PS: What shot are you running to trap 125?? That's probably 175-200 shot I'm guessing???

100 shot (although I know tnt is a badass kit) and exhaust and trapping 125
IMpressive results I'm surprise you didn't pull that cobra MUCH harder than you did

I was also there to witness the kill. I thought Tim would get him outta the hole on the slicks and the cobra would slowly catch up, but that wasn't the case. Tiger was doing the catching. I believe everyone there was shocked. One cobra down, one more to go.

Like I was saying my car seems to pull MUCH harder up top than it does down low. That may be the reason for the high trap and ok et....
I suppose the reason I didnt beat him by more is because of how he come off the line. I just knew I was dead...
btw I heard he had a very small shot of nitrous but you know how "hearing" goes. He told me the other mods however....
I HAVE A MUCH RESPECT FOR COBRAS NOW...It takes me spraying to keep up w/ one

I just raced one in the kinda short 1/8 mile...It was from alabama and I didnt get his name....I had been running a mach 1 and then the announcer was like lets get the cobra and camaro going for the last run.. I was really pissed because I had my video camera in the back seat and didnt get the run
I do have time slips and I will post them and what happened in the drag racing forum...
P.S I appreciate the complitments about my car..

I have really started kicking around the idea of nitrous after I told myself I was going to stay N/A. I trapped 116.63 with my old 212/214 cam, now I have a 228/228.

about spraying all together or over 100? I plan to use the spray sparingly while I save for my suspension then get a cam and stall...Then I want an sts turbo and no more spray.
I have been using it a lot however because its a new toy

Yeah the blower was loud as hell...On the camera you couldnt hear the lope of the car in the background as well so the blower sounded even louder....
very dark that night not even a moon....I was in the closest lane.....they said I wont by 1.5 cars but they kinda lost us before we let off....
