Default List of GM Part #'s for cam swap, LS6 swap and Heads (99-up)

I'm going to be doing a cam swap soon and have been going over this for about 3 days now trying to get all the correct info and part #'s for the parts used and needed in a cam swap. Hope this helps some other people out

Balancer Bolt. (GM Part # 12557840) qty. 1

Cam Sproket bolts (GM Part # 12556127) qty. 3
(cheap so why re-use)
Cam Retainer Bolts (GM Part # 11515756) qty. 4
(cheap so why re-use)
Front Engine seal (GM Part # 12561244) qty. 1

Water Pump gasket (GM PArt # 12559271) qty. 2
(99-up)
Timing cover gasket (GM Part # 12574294) qty. 1

Valve Cover gaskets (GM Part # 12560696) qty. 2
(may not be needed)

Optional Parts that may or may-not need to be changed but should for insurance sake

New LS6/LS1 oil pump (GM Part # 12563964) qty. 1
(can also get a ported unit through a sponsor. Should be changed on all 98-00, and on 01-up over 50k miles)

Oil pump pick-up tube o-ring (GM Part # 12557752) qty.1

LS2 Timming Chain (GM Part # 12586482) qty. 1
(can also get the JWIS or Timming set thru a sponsor)

Valve spring Locks (GM part # 10166345) qty. 3-5 (spares)

Also need new springs that depend on the type of cam, Push-rods, about 6 qts of oil, New oil filter, about 2 gallons of Coolant, Tube of RTV (for the bottom of the timming cover where it meets the oil pan), and some Lock-tight for the Rocker arm bolts (Non-Perm Blue if I rememeber right)

Also these parts might be needed if you have emission hook-ups still. (EGR and AIR)

AIR Gaskets (GM Part # 12553617) qty. 2

EGR Gasket (GM Part # 12337972 valve or 10055726 tube gasket. I found both and don't know which gasket is which) qty. 1

Also I found these Part #'s for swapping out to an LS6 manifold

LS6 manifold w/out EGR (GM Part # 88894339) qty. 1
(comes with all new gaskets and MAP sensor)

Front coolant tube (GM Part # 12578838) qty. 1 or 2
(replaced Part # 12568478)
Rear coolant plugs (GM Part # 12563325) qty. 2 or you can use a second coolant pipe

Misc stuff I'm going to change also would be:

Knock-Sensors (GM part # 10456603)

LS6 PCV conversion:
---------------------------------------------------------
LS6 valley cover (GM part # 12568002) qty. 1

valve cover plug (GM Part # 12568011) qty. 1

The reason I'm posting this info is that half of the original Part #'s where either wrong or I couldn't get the right ones to begin with.

Glad you cought that. I was copying and pasting a lot of number's and missed that one.

I have to say thanks to www.ls1howto.com and all members of this board that helped find the part #'s for some of the idividual items. Some of the part #'s listed on www.ls1howto.com are off or have newer part #'s. I would like to get this to whoever made the web page to help him out.

Just order the intake gaskets from FAST. They are cheaper than at GM Parts Direct.
