well, if your front cover etc is off and your timing chain is exposed, you can use the dots to do it. if not, just pull the spark plug and stick a straw through the hole, rotate the crank untill you can hardly put the straw through the spark plug hole at all. i think the order is 1+6, 4+7, 3+8, 2+5.

Remove old rockers. Install new rockers. Snug 'em up. Pick a valve. Turn motor over by hand. Watch for that valve to completely close. Stop rotating motor. You are at TDC on the compression stroke, and on the BC of the lobe. Tighten rocker to 22 lbs.ft. Continue to the next valve in the fireing order.
I adjust on the nose starting on # 2 and just do I/E one bank at a time.... then rotate 360* and re-check torque.
Some folks just torque em' all down to 22 and call it good.

well the rockers went in fine no problems...the only issue is that i think the drivers side rockers are still barely rubbing against the valve cover (there is a slight vibration when i touch it)...if i removed the oil baffles in the cover and it still rubs a bit what should i do??
