Firebird in my sig: new for 2005 - motor, headers, converters, Racepak data points, anodized interior aluminum, 4-link rod ends, rear springs, r/p (4.11 from 4.29).

'99 SS: converting T56 to A4, forged motor and many goodies.

Otherwise, nothing new here.

Fireball. Any quick write up on swapping out the trottle cable? This was also one of my projects - thanks for the part number - I am ASSUMING that the part number is a GM part number.

Looks great by the way. What do you think your weight will be?

there's really not much to changing out the cables. I did it a couple weeks ago, took all of 10 minutes to do. You'll unbolt the TCS module and cruise control modules from their respective places (just follow the cables, cruise is usually on the driver's side front frame rail under the fuse boxes), the main cable going to the pedal has a little expansion clip thing built into it, so just push the tabs in and push it through the firewall and disconnect it from the pedal/throttle cam. It's all pretty straight forward and shouldn't take you long to do it at all.

yup...just follow the cables...pretty straight forward

yes...thats the GM part number. easier yet...just ask for the throttle cable w/o traction control
