Default is the racetronix pump worth the extra $100 over the regular walboro 340?

I mean all you are getting more is the wiring harness and a pretty red pump that no one sees

my mods are 235/240 602/600 on a 112 lsb tsp cam
full length headers
and a 150 shot wet

this is on an 01 with the 28 pound inj

i guess what i am really asking is will the regular intank walboro 340 work for my application?

thanks

Yes it is worth the extra money. I believe Racetronix uses a Walbro pump that is larger than the regular 340. Also, their harness is a Hot Wire kit, you'd spend $70 to buy one at a sponsor. The big seller is that you don't have to modify your stock intank canister with the Racetronix kit. That way there is no chance of the pump going dry or airating on launch or in the corners like there would be with a modified canister. I currently have a regular Walbro 255 with a modified cansiter. I will be switching back to a stock configuration with the Racetronix kit in the spring.

Everywhere I've seen them, they are $250. I would reccomend picking one up at Thunder Racing or even order it right from Racetronix.

for a 98 car, you could just install a pump.

but for a 99+ car I would only use a racetronix style pump.
