Default dash removal questions...

hey guys........

i need to remove my dash and was wondering who's done it themselves and what advise can you give me? i know it's a lot of work, but it's cheaper than having the chassis guy do it.

thanks,
Dave

It has a lot of, i believe, 7 MM bolts. Adn the whole front part of the dash is velcroed in! So dont let that confuse u. It took care of me for a day. Just start low and start undoin bolts. It'll come out

Undo the two nuts holding the steering column up and let it drop down, will make things much easier.

This is true, but wen we dropped one once it pulled the steering shaft off. dont know if ours ws bolted or if it was spose to be. Im just sayin watch it if u have to push the car you'll go to steer and then realize u have no control!

You need a special puller. You can rent it from Autozone.

damn....that sucks. i hate special tools. maybe i'll just have Speed Inc. do it for me if they can. they've done nearly everything else on my last car, so why not start on this one too.

thanks,
Dave
