I think it will be a little steep for a DD but since it is not I think you would be fine. If that thing hooks 0-60 should be retarded fast!

yes, and it would be impossible to have street tire traction with 4.88. My 4.11 make traction difficult.

I will be using this combo for a short while in my '71 Camino. I'm putting in a 482 BBC and T56, and the 12 Bolt rear has 4.88s right now. Should be interesting. I will probably run a 275/60/15 rear for a little while. This is no longer a drag car, just a cruiser/show car. Ultimatly I will likely install 3.73s or 4.11s.

This is a 12 bolt rear, correct? If not, get ready to shave the teeth off that ring gear like stripping the kernels off an ear of sweetcorn... If it is a 12 bolt, you might also need a taller tire....Best of luck, though. WJ

I believe a 27" ET Drag would be best for you at the track. Those M/T ET Radial Drags are 26" tall. That's alot of gear for those tires. They will not last long running them on the street, also. They're very soft, but a GREAT track tire. WJ

That's what I was thinking. 4.88's wow I couldn't imagine. I thought my 4.10's had problems with traction. Let us know how you like it.
