changing valve springs. any special tool ?
i am about the change the cam on my 99 motor . the engine is out of the car . is there a secial way to do this , or tool needed . thanks

I picked up the Larry spring tool for 40 bucks. just got it in the mail last week, and it is a quality piece. Can't wait to put it to use. will prolly use TDC method to keep valves up.

Yep, if you can't get a Larry tool the VHP/Crane tool is the way to go. I also use the TDC method to hold the valves up. I just stick a straw in the plug hole to double check that the piston is all the way up.
