Default Can anyone spare some HPTuners logs?

I am not really too particular about what they have...maybe some cruising and idle w/spark, MAP, dynamic airflow? IAT is always nice too... I just want some logs to compare some of mine to. Some stock (no cam) vehicles would be pretty neat-o too. Shoot an email to someoneelse@adelphia.net? I would really appreciate it! It would help me compare what the PCM is seeing on other vehicles compared to mine...I always share my findings...

That's easy. Run some logs and see where your dynamic airflow g/cyl is at WOT. It should be everything .64 g/cyl and above.

ok and then say if i wanted to change from 3000-6400 rpm then from .64 down i would change it all accordingly? i see there is a huge dip in the graph where it goes down to 23* is it like tha tfor a reason??

There are many theories regarding those "dips". I think it was to cut back torque (and horsepower). At WOT I run 28 degrees of timing straight across from like 1800 rpms or something...I have to go look to be sure, but from right about that rpm on up. I actually smoothed down the one point that hit 29 degrees. A lot of people are running about 28 degrees (some go in the 30s, but that seems like a bit much for me) at WOT. Just take it easy and watch for KR before you go too crazy with the gas pedal and you should be fine.

I will look them over. I am sure I can find something useful out of just about any log. I have hundreds of my own, but I need others for comparison. Thanks for the logs!

Anyone else, my email box is always open!

You can get my BIN at Horist's site. www.horist.com/hptuner
It's the 98 F-body tune with a full page description of what I changed. I you need some other stuff I have many (many many) other BINs I have worked on, but that was my first MAFless that I was satisfied enough with to post. The spark table has my WOT changes.

Ok. I emailed it to you too. I copied my high octane over my low octane. You still get normal KR, but none of it sticks. Whether or not you go that route is up to you. Some people copy the high over the low and just remove a few degrees just in case. I just watch my logs and tune out any KR that keeps popping up.

I'll send you something that I ran last fall before I had to put the car down for the winter. I'd be interested in any comments you have on the state of the tune. April's coming soon, so I need to get back on top of things before cruising time starts again.

I have a few that I have collected.

Almost stock, i.e. lid and then bolt on as well. Got a few recent logs in trying to get my VE dialed. I log on my way to work but unfortunately I go up in elevation about 3000ft and its hard to establish any kind of a baseline. Anyways, if you're interested I'll shoot those over to
