I don't think they weigh very much. They are just a couple pieces of wood I believe wrapped in carpet. Unless your car is an all out track car, shouldn't be any concerns regarding weight.

The shipping weight he puts on the box is 30lbs. I believe they weigh a bit less than that.

LOL, 30 pounds is more than the whole rear seat set weighs.

But if you're gonna get these, u're not looking to save weight, u're looking more for show. So I don't think anyone will have a problem with that.

Did you buy yours from the shop, or the guy selling them on here (msfyter)?

Personally, I don't use my car for storage, so I would have no use for those!

As far as I know, Mark (msyfter) is the only one who makes these kits. He is selling them both here and through online stores.

I am sort of helping him diagnose some issues with the kits, including how the bolts don't always line up. He just sent me my second set and it is MUCH improved over the first. He's a stand-up guy and if you have problems he'll make it right. This is a nice product, it just needs a little work.

My best advice with the bolts, especially the fronts, is patience... if you get frustrated, you'll break something, not get it to work, or both.

like i said..its a nice product just doesnt fit well....your supposed to use all your stock hardware....the front bolts dont even come close to reaching the stock holes and ive adjusted them just about every which way i can. i spent 2 hours attempting and in the end i felt like i was tryin to put a square box into a round hole. ill attempt my own little revamp of the product to make it fit, possibly get longer bolts for the front.

I just got mine installed this weekend. The long bolts fit fine. I didn't put the top bolts in. The carpet doesn't match so I redid mine with orange fabric to go with the orange theme I have on the interior of my car.

I was thinking of making my own with plastic and covering them with carpet to save weight. Maybe someone can pass this idea on to the guy that makes this delete kit.
