Default having this cam installed as we speek

well, my car is currently getting the g5x3 on 114 cam installed. I've done alot of research and from what everybody sais is that the 114 lsa will not need fly cutting. I'm running the prc dual valve spring cam kit good to .660 lift. I'm thinking my car will be fine with those valve springs, but I want opinions.
will I have any problems with piston clearance??

thanks

Adam

let me know how it goes, i'm putting in the same one in my car in a week or so. I've personally talked to Lou at LG and the 114 lsa will clear stock unmilled heads.

well.... from what I've heard its pretty close to 238/242 at least thats what alot of people agree on. I was kinda hoping for a cam card, but no cam card came with it so I guess its still top secret

I'll post the dyno sheet when I get it.

any updates?

Mine is going in friday, along w/ PRC V. Springs, Chromoly PR's, LS6 Ported Oil Pump, and ASP UD Pulley.

I'll post up results. My current cam 228/228 is running me at 376 on the dyno. So we'll see what the G5X3 will do.

You should be fine. Some guys even run the Comp 918's, but thats too close for my comfort. The Patriot's will be fine. And p to v clearance isnt an issue on a 114 lsa.
