Default '02 SS vs. Turbo RSX

I don't get too many races, but I thought I'd post this one up...this was my first in about 5-6 months.

Pull up to a stop light with an RSX following close behind. There was really no one around, so he gets in the other lane. I ease off the line, not in a big hurry, but not wasting time either, and he stays right beside me. I got on it a little bit (~80-90% throttle), and he bites. Being the retard that I am, I had already short shifted into second, so I'm in a pretty bad spot (around 30 MPH or so). I stay in it, and by the end of second, I had 1.5 cars on him, and by the end of third, I added another on top of that. He kept up surprisingly well...so I hit the brakes right after shifting into 4th since I had had enough, and...oh...wait...here it comes...THE RICER FLYBY!!! This was the first time I had this pulled on me, and I was highly disappointed, but I did hear the sound of his blow off valve, which reassured me that this was no stock RSX. Guess he was kinda butt hurt...but I shoulda tossed on the hazzards on his ***.

I've been checking clubrsx.com, but I haven't seen anything come up...if you see something on there that has a slightly different twist to the story, just let me know (as in "the SS got the jump, but I pulled him top end"). Next time, I'll get it on tape

Cliffs notes: Bolt-on SS takes out turbo RSX. Turbo RSX does gay fly by.

My mods: power-wise, only a ported TB, Kooks LTs, custom over-the-axle true duals. Put down 340/356 with too much timing and running rich. I do have a little over $2k in suspension, but it only helps handling, not straight line.

His mods: turbo kit of some sort and a quiet exhaust...definite sleeper (his only saving grace).

Yeah...I was pretty surprised. I didn't even really get a good look at the driver, so I have no idea how old he was. Probably about my age though (early 20s).

Maybe you should have thrown on the hazards, this could be the reason for the flybys........naw wait, it's cause they're retarded.

Speaking of hazzards...so there I was, driving home from work. My buddy drives a pretty worn out Ford Escort, and we caught a light together. Just prior to this, I passed a new Civic that was slammed with rims, and a debadged Celica with the standard fart can and white rims. So I roll down my window, and my buddy starts revving his engine. I take off from the stop light at a moderate pace, and just kinda leave him sitting there. Jokingly, I throw on the hazzards...I **** you not, no more than 10 seconds later, the ricer boys come flying by. Guess I must have pissed them off

Thats funny. My little brother isnt really into cars but he is pretty funny in his civic. Its a bone stock 98 EX, aside from the fact he hit a curb and we had to cut the exhaust after the resonator, because it was smashed so bad. Anyways he will fly by people on the highway, after a big running start, and throw the hazards on. I have been driving behind him when he has done it to everything from celicas to vipers. Its always great to see their reaction. Usually its just disgust.

Morons...true morons. I usually point and laugh just to **** them off...but again im sure they think what they do is winning the race even if I never step on the gas and they can barely pass me...cuz again they are morons.
