If its make of the aluminum like the weiland intake I'll just spend the money on the LSX or keep my LS6 intake.

Why?? Heat soak?

Irrelevant in street applications and in races, nothing a 50 shot dry wouldn't cool down.
We should be more interested in flow #'s and performance testing.

Just don't think its going to out perform LSX and ya can do more with it because they designed it to do various things for nos and ya can buy the intake in peices 78mm & 90mm saw from 78 to 90 top shell! And it has been proven! Its only money! So your saying u would rather have the bbk thats not proven and most people go to the track thats the legal way! Used to do a little on the street but the cops got bad anyways people also don't KNOW when to stop they keep going till they win or quit like 160mph!

Holy run on sentence batman!

I gather from this your sayin the LSX is prooven and the BBK is not, has bosses for N2O, and it comes in sections. I got lost after that though.

I have given up on the idea of the BBK unit. When I get a chance I will be going with the LS6 intake myself.

There is also a NX/TB 85mm in the works, I'm waiting for some info from nitro Dave on these.
Also Alum intake has porting, portmatching capabilities, O-rings, and for the "bling, bling" poeple, polishing to mirror finish.

But all this wouldn't mean squat if it doesn't outflow LS6 and perhaps FAST.

The NX intake looks nice i have had some first hand ahh machining ahh looks at it . But last i knew its going through some more changes and this was almost a year ago when i had the first hand looks. I got tired of waiting for it then had a chance on the BBK for a good price so i took that.... for now

Unless the BBK puts out some good numbers, I'm gonna stick with an LS6 off ebay for $200 max after I do exhaust. I can't see spending hundreds more on an intake that gives maybe 10more rwhp on a cammed street motor.

i have my order in for it through summit, the BBK is similar to the Weian, but it has a 85mm TB opening, basicaly designed for their TB.

It supposedly flows better than a LS6 but as all have said it hasnt shipped yet, im really wanting mine to get here. Summit has a ship date on it and its next tuesday, im really hoping their right

1- BBK has 80mm TB
2- BBK has O-ring gasket (same as stock intake)
3- BBK has DP N2O bosses ready to be machined

A- WEAND is a POS
