Actually not my application, but a friend of mine.

Anyway, car has 4.11 gears and stock 16" rims dedicated for track use.

I was thinking 26x10.5 but I just want to come to you guys for the def correct answer on sizing

Thanks
Larry

Has he lowered his ride? That will play into how tall of a rear tire he can run.

His car runs 12.3s
not lowered
mods are: basic bolt ons, mcleod single disk, 4.10s, skinnies, lt headers, phr, sfcs, lcas, spohn tq arm, shift at 6400

he's run 26x10.5s with 4.10s for a 1.68 60ft launching at 5000-5500, should he stay with this size or go with 27", 28" etc?

as long as he ain't running out of rpm going thru the traps stay with the size he has.what kind of 60' is he doing now? a bigger slick will help give more bite off the line but you'll lose some mph on the top end.
