Default For those thinking about the fm13 cam

This just shows what kind of power the car is putting out on average(not Peak) 3700 lbs fully loaded 2000 T/A with heavy 12 bolt and on teh new m/t drag radials. 11.38@ 121.30 mph with only a 1.62 60 ft.

This cam pulls through the entire rpm range , not just topend like a lot of the lower tq cams out there right now. Very streetable, sounds real nice but not real radical. Now any one thinking of this cam , you cant go wrong,.

i got an f14... im hoping for slightly more power everywhere the f13 makes power... i know i saw my buddies f15 graph, even tho its larger, it had a whopping 364 lbs of tq at 3000 rpms... it prolly made 300lbs as low as 2500 or less even lol

Wow, that is awesome.

I'm hoping to go 11.999999999 on nitto DR's, 10 bolt, f13, full bolts and a lot of tuning.

Awesome!
Awesome HP, and TQ numbers backed up by killer track times.
All I can say is those F13 cams just keep on PULLING, PULLING and PULLING

I'm just glad to see it's not another Dyno comparison. It's good to see some track times..

230/232 .597/.587 112lsa 4 deg advance

I have seen no proof that the 14 makes more power then the 13. Allan said they are about the same but the 14 lopes harder.

How does this cam handle cruising about 20mph? My lunati cam would lurch while driving and my wife didnt' like driving it so I switched to the lpe cam. BTW my car is a six speed.

I know my car is a BASTARD on the street! Makes power everywhere! Car put down 442/415 before the port matched 90mm LSX/NW 90mm TB combo. The car feels stronger with the 90mm setup. I'll redyno in a few weeks to get some final numbers. For those on the fence...........The FM13 is the ****!! Just ask the 408 I pulled or the 03-04 cobras I've ran off on!

I dont want to try to convince any one to not buy the g5x3 or any other cam. They will all put a smile on your face. f13 cam just makes great power with a very street freindly Idle. I dont have any hopping at 20 mph if I stay in 2nd gear. I can go 55 in 6th at about 1400 rpms and still no bucking but its on the verge.

I do have mild ported heads, a little smoothing in the bowls and 2.02 valves on the intake and stock exh valves. the exhaust do good though. the heads flow 256 @ .500and 257@ .600 on the intake. 219cfm at .600 on the exh. heads were shaved .015 for around 10.5/1 compression

Allan looked at my graph and said that the heads did not heop much over stock but they did not hurt either. I think they did help with the track times she runs though.
