Default What do you think of the ADR Msports?

Hey all,

Well I was all geared up and ready to buy some HP EVO's when I stumbled across some ADR Msports. They come in 18x9.5 and I think they look a little less busy than the EVO's.

I tried searching but didn't come up with too many results. Anybody running them? I'm curious to hear peoples opinions of them (regarding quality, not necessarily style.)

Thanks,

Russell

I found this pic but it is the chrome version, not the hyperdark:

I also found this thread but the pics are pretty crappy:

I think they look great, I just don't know if ADR is a decent brand. I don't want the finish peeling, or the metal pitting, etc. They are a damn good price ($800) for 18x9.5 all around.

I personally don't think so. I think the HP's are a bit busy compared to the ADR's. The ADR's only have 7 "spokes" while the HP's have 10, I like the extra spacing of the ADR's as it shows off the rotor and caliper a bit more. Also, the ADR's come in 9.5" width rather than the 9" of the HP's (in 18" of course). But it's just a matter of opinion.

I was really hoping I could get some info from anyone who has the wheels or has wheels from the company. I want to know if they are good quality or not.

Man the size and offset is pretty extreme . . . 35mm with a 9.5" wheel width, I'm running 37 mm, and would never think of running anything smaller . . . Just my honest opinion.

Yeah,

I was about to look into the offset etc. compared to the stock 9.5" wheel. Why wouldn't you run anything smaller than 37mm? Looks or safety or something else?

Thanks,

Russell

XstaZ,

I just found out that the 19x9.5 HP Evo's that Tony runs are a 38mm offset. Do you think 3mm difference would be that bad? From my calculations, they'll sit outside the fender ~1.4" more than the stock rims. Even with a 38mm offset they'd sit outside the fender ~1.3" more than the stock rims.

Just curious if it's a looks thing or a safety thing.

Russell
