Those U-Haul trailers suck *** for cars that sit low. When we towed my brother's Mustang back from Idaho, he had to climb out the window, then open the door a crack and roll it back up... with power windows, I dunno how you'd do it.

Welcome to the Northwest. Get used to it.
I look forward to meeting you when you get up here. Let us know when you get here and we can do Hooters or meet at the track(PIR) or something.

I love the color of your car! I don't know if I've seen one that color around here! As for the weather, you'll get used to it, though it might take a while, I'm still freezing after moving up here from Houston back in '93! lol

I've been to a few F-body lunch meets with Nathan. He's a good guy. Nathan, disregard my post in RacingSouthwest I guess you already found it here.... Might take a while for the rain to grow on you (moss too LOL) but I'm sure you'll like it up there overall. I miss it; my wife is going up to Seattle to see her family in a couple weeks but I can't make it.
I also used that same trailer when I took my Z down here to Albuquerque. I couldn't go out the hatch 'cause the car was jam packed with stuff. That's what 5-year old daughters are for...

Get used to the rain, but I gotta admit we have had a great winter or rather the lack of winter this year. You are going to miss the sunny days of New Mexico! I sure as heck do! Welcom to Oregon

I made a similar, but longer drive last year moving up here. I went from Kansas, down through Alberquque, then up through Nevada, California, Oregon, then Washington....long drive
The fender on the trailer I used folded down, so getting out wasn't a problem. Those trailers are freaking heavy though, and don't allow you to adjust the tongue weight. Our Tahoe was sagging pretty low

Nice looking T/A!
As dry as it has been in NM the past 5 years you ought to appreciate a little rain and a lack of water use restrictions! Then again, weather been kind of freaky here to the past few years.
Welcome to Oreeegone! Oh, yeah, I'm actually a New Mexican myself, so nice having more company from the Land of Enchantment

Well.. i'm finally in hillsboro (just got the internet hooked up today)
driving through bend was an absolute pain in the ***.
Sister's Pass (or something like that.. on highway 20) was terrible to drive over.. since i was lucky enough to hit that stupid snow storm
the uhaul wanted to go over the mountain a few times.. did 10-15mph for about 90 miles of that drive..
this area is very pretty though.. alot quieter and cleaner than what i'm used to (in nevada and new mexico)
i drove the car the other day.. and holy **** was that fun
137' above sea level..
when i'm used to about a mile high.
i'll probably cap the exhaust though.. i'm getting some dirty looks running wide open
Hope to see you guys in the near future!
and brent, let me know when you come back up to WA
