Default Improvement going to HAL QA1's?

I noticed a thread here about the HAL's but didnt want to hijack so I made my own!

Question....What were your 60' times before switching to HAL's? I just ordered a set of QA1's for all 4's with the 300 weight springs...just wondering what kinda drop I will see with the new set up. I was cutting 1.8x 60's last weekend on my SLP Bilsteins/SLP Eibachs...I ordered the new set up as I felt the tightness of the current shocks/springs were hurting me...do you guys agree? Any predictions of how much of a drop I should expect to see?

FYI - my current suspension mods are BMR LCA's, SFC, Edelbrock Tq arm, SLP Bilsteins/SLP Eibachs (soon to be QA1's 300 weight front springs) and have a Moser 12-bolt 4-channel w/3:73's....

It depends on how the car is hooking at this time. If you are not hooking and not getting great weight transfer than they will help alot, but if you are dead hooking now then they wont benifit you much. They will help further down the line when you start making more power and traction becomes an issue.

I just made it out to the track two weekends ago...on my 1.8x 60's, the car was not really squatin' like I thought it would...by launching a lil' over 5k, I thought the front would come up a bit more, so it doesnt really feel like the weight tranfer is too effective at this point...Judging by the video, I dont think the hook was too great as you could hear the car rev off the line. I thought it was clutch slippage at first, but I was not smelling it at all, so wheel spin was my next guess...I would really like to get the car into the 1.5 - 1.6 60' range...think this is manageable from a 1.8 with just switching my stiff SLP stuff for the QA1's and launching a bit harder? Also...for the guys with this set up on a beefed rear, where are you launching at?

BTW...the car pushed 393rwhp 378tq last time out on the dyno on motor I do have more power awaiting to be used as a TNT 100 wet shot is itching to be sprayed
